Ride, the legendary English band, is going to perform in Ulaanbaatar on July 31 at the AIC Steppe Arena.
Ride is one of the top three shoegaze bands in the world (My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive). Andy Bell, the band’s singer and guitarist, was inspired by his dream of creating music and forming a band after watching The Smiths perform at the age of 14. Back in 1988, as a high school student, he took the plunge and formed the band. By 1991, their debut album “Nowhere” hit the shelves, marking the beginning of their journey. Teaming up with the iconic Creation Records, they embarked on a career that would leave an indelible mark on the music industry. Ride has released four albums with Creation Records, two of which, Nowhere and Going Blank Again, are among the top five on Pitchfork’s list of the 50 Greatest Shoegaze Albums of All Time.
March of this year marked the release of Ride’s latest album, Interplay, reaffirming their enduring ability to craft music that is consistently innovative and refreshingly creative.
This is an exceptional and rare opportunity to experience the unparalleled talent of the world’s greatest band, Ride, as they take the stage live in Ulaanbaatar.
